What is FiveM and how do I install it?
FiveM is a modification framework for GTA V that enables multiplayer on customized servers. To install, download the client from fivem.net, run the installer, and follow the prompts. The client will automatically detect your GTA V installation.
Do I need a legit copy of GTA V to play?
Yes. You must own a legitimate copy of GTA V through Steam, Epic Games, or Rockstar Games Launcher to play on our FiveM server.
How do I join your server?
First, join VertexRP's Discord server, fill out and submit the Whitelist Application Once approved, you can take the Whitelist Quiz. You connect to the server using the IP address provided in Discord or by clicking the "Connect" button on our website once you complete the entire whitelisting process.
What are the basic roleplay rules?
Always stay in character in-game, respect the value of life, avoid combat logging, avoid metagaming (using out-of-game information in-game), and follow realistic roleplay scenarios. Complete server rules are available on our website.
How do I apply for police/EMS/other whitelisted jobs?
For new players: To apply for a police, EMS, or other whitelisted job, first play on our server for at least one week. After the one-week period, you can apply for a job using the job-specific application. For seasoned players: If you're already whitelisted, you can apply for a police, EMS, or other whitelisted job after 48 hours. All applications will be reviewed, and the results will be posted on the Whitelist Job Application Response channel in our Discord server.
